1.What makes LA
Maids special?
LA Maids is a local Los Angles company which provides

2.Do LA Maids
bring their own supplies, or will I need to provide them?
Yes, LA Maids bring all of their own supplies
including a commercial-strength vacuum. However If you
require specialized equipment, such as tools to clean
vaulted ceilings or special polish for stainless steel
appliances, please inform us prior to your service so we may
provide your crew with the necessary equipment.
3. Will the same
team be cleaning my home each time I have service?
If you have a regularly-scheduled service, you will
have the same crew each visit, barring illness or
emergencies. If you call in occasionally, you may request a
specific crew, and LA Maids will do everything possible to
accommodate your request.
4. Do I need to
be home when the LA Maids arrive?
This is left up to you! It is not necessary for you
to be present when LA Maids are cleaning your home. We
understand that schedules can be busy - so many of our
clients choose to schedule their services while they are at
work or running errands. But if you would prefer to be at
home, please feel free to be!
5.What if I need
to cancel or reschedule because of a family emergency or
other reason?
We ask for a 72 hours notice if you need to cancel your
appointment. We understand that due to illnesses or other
emergencies, sometimes this is not possible. If you need to
cancel your appointment on extremely short notice or to
reassign your regular maid service team, we may charge a
cancellation or reassign fee.
6. How does
payment work?
You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. Payment
in full is required at the time of service.
7. Who does LA
Maids hire to clean my home?
LA Maids cleaning professionals are trained, and
insured before stepping into LA Maids . Our residential
housekeepers respect customers by never eating, drinking,
smoking or using appliances during home cleanings. And each
LA Maids employee takes pride in their work, receiving
regularly updated training and supervision to ensure quality
maid service.
8. What method
of would you use to clean my carpets.
"External Extraction"® This method is often call
"Warm Water Extraction", "Hot Water Extraction" or "Steam
Cleaning" and is the cleaning method nearly all carpet
manufacturers and carpet fiber producers recommend.
This is the only cleaning method classified as "deep
cleaning". All the others are considered "light surface
cleaning" because they are incapable of removing soil deep
in the pile. Also, all other methods leave large amounts of
cleaning agent in the carpet after cleaning.
The maintenance brochure published by the world's largest
carpet manufacturer, Shaw Industries, recommends this
method, because its own research indicates that it provides
the best capability for cleaning.
This method is frequently called "steam" cleaning due to the
fine spray of water used to force dirt out of the carpet
which is sucked up by the vacuum slot immediately in front
of the spray. Seldom is real live steam used, however. This
process consists of spraying a solution of water and
detergent into the carpet pile and recovering the water and
soil with a powerful vacuum into a holding tank.
